First Alert SA340B Lithium Battery Powered Ionization Smoke Alarm

First Alert Model SA340B is a state of the art smoke alarm designed to provide early warning of a fire.

It features an ionization smoke sensing chamber which may detect invisible fire particles (associated with flaming fires) sooner than photoelectric alarms. The First Alert SA340B also features an 85dB horn, a 10 year lithium battery, a single button test/silence switch, a silence feature to silence unwanted nuisance alarms. Other unique features of the SA340B smoke alarm are:

• Sealed Batteries: The 10 year Lithium batteries are sealed with soldered connections, and cannot be removed after installation.
• It also features tamper resistant locking pins that lock the alarm to the mounting bracket.

The alarm is designed to have an 'End of Service Life Alert', an audible signal when the powercell has reached the end of its service life.

Designed for wall or ceiling mounting. Includes mounting anchors and screws.
